How do I know which products are in stock?

All KUJI products are bespoke and made-to-measure. We do not have any products in stock. We are committed to reducing waste and creating something unique for each of our clients.

How does the production process work?

All KUJI pieces are custom-made, giving you the option to curate your final product should you wish, changing the colours of the beads or leather, or making design and size alterations to suit your taste/requirements. To agree the final design brief for your bespoke piece, we will arrange a short consultation by phone or email to discuss and agree the size requirements and other product details.

How long does it take to create my KUJI waistbelt?

Once the final design brief is confirmed and your order submitted, the time for production is usually around three months. As each piece is custom-made to an individual brief and carefully handcrafted by our team of seasoned artisans in Transylvania, the production time is around 90 days. We hope you agree with us that the time, history and care that goes into each piece is what makes them so special – and well worth the wait. And your KUJI waistbelt will be your bespoke heirloom –  a piece of wearable art that you will pass on from one generation to another.

Which waistbelt size shall I order?

KUJI waistbelts are made-to-measure, therefore, the size will be determined by your measurements. In order to determine your KUJI belt size, we recommend measuring one of your own belts from the base of the tongue to the hole you use most. You should also measure your waist circumference at the point where you normally position your waistbelts/belts. For example, if your waist measures 70cm, your KUJI belt size would be 70. Decide where on the body you want to wear the waistbelt/belt and measure that part. Send us the result and we will consider that to be the middle point of the belt’s length. This way you will be able to adjust it to be smaller or wider within a certain cm range depending on the model you choose. Once we have your measurements, we will find the optimal size for you so that you have a wider adjusting option.

How do I choose my product or what can I customize?

You don’t have to worry about choosing your KUJI product. We can customize it for you. Let us know what colours you want it to be and what motifs you like best and we will make your waistbelt, 100% bespoke. You can mix and match motifs from all our waistbelts and you can choose the colour of your leather, beads and stitches. If you want a motif we do not have on our website, we can implement that too, as long as we consider it to represent the spirit of our brand.

I want to stay within a budget. Can I still get a bespoke product?

We will do our best to meet your expectations and help you get the product you want within your budget. Keep in mind the production cost of all our items is very high as we care deeply about sustainability, and we make no compromise regarding the people and resources involved. Moreover, we go against the fast fashion current, and we do not have stocks. We create for you specifically which makes the production costs higher. However, we can help you meet your budget by creating a less complex embroidery, and by choosing a leather that is of good quality but also affordable. Please keep in mind that we will never compromise on quality, and will always let you know if we cannot create what you have in mind within the suggested budget – but will make every effort.

Do you have a personalization service?

Yes, we do offer a personalization service. We can engrave your initials or a short message on the leather lining. If you want to opt for the personalization service, please mention this in your request. The basic option of up to 6 letters/characters costs €100. For more letters or more specific engravings, we will give you a quotation after seeing the material you want engraved.

How do I care for my KUJI product?

All KUJI waistbelts have great durability. They are made to last for generations. In time, you will see the effects of time on the leather, but that will only enhance its beauty. Please don’t wash your product. For the leather lining you can use a leather-specific product from time to time, but that it is up to you and not mandatory. 

Do keep your waistbelt rolled, as it is the best way for it to preserve its shape. 

If you have any problem with your waistbelt, both leather lining and embroidery, please contact us and we will do our best to help you. So far, we had no issues with any of our products, and they resisted well with very little care, but we are here to help in case yours needs fixing.

Where do you deliver and what is the delivery cost?

We deliver from Romania worldwide. The delivery cost depends on your location and we will give you a quotation after receiving your order, and it will be the delivery service’s fee without any commission on our side. If you have a preferred delivery service, you can let us know and we can opt for that. We usually work with internationally trusted couriers such as DHL or FedEx.

How long will my delivery take?

Once your product is ready (expect about 90 days) it will take a few days for you to receive it, depending on the courier’s delivery times and your location. In Romania it usually takes about 1-2 days.

Is a signature required upon receiving the delivery of my order?

The recipient’s signature is required on receipt of your package.

Can I return or exchange my product?

KUJI products are made-to-measure and bespoke, therefore, returns are not possible. We will be designing and creating the product just for you and we will keep you up to date with the production process so that you can intervene in time. We will make sure to meet your expectations and keep up our promise of quality, uniqueness, and durability.

Which means of payment are accepted by KUJI and

Your purchases may only be paid via bank transfer. After completing your order, you will be taken to a payment page where the details of our account will be displayed. You can make a transfer to that account. We will tell you the final amount and give you all the details after we have your final order. We will also issue an invoice for you.

Do you do embroideries for other brands upon request?

Yes, we offer embroidery services for other brands and we work 100% custom projects for them.
